Aquitaine: Green business regions in the South-West

In 2009 Aquitaine became the region with the highest number of "green" jobs, according to the Trendeo Observatory.

For example, the recent arrival of American giant FIRST SOLAR, the reconversion of FORD to wind-power and indeed the pilot program PREBIOM for the pre-treatment of biomass.

The region attracts many people and it is rich in coveted natural resources: it has the largest cultivated forest and is Europe's number 1 producer of maize and solar energy and it is the 2^nd largest area in France to produce low energy geothermal power...
