In order to meet the challenges of energy and climate change, the Burgundy Regional Council has decided to boost its energy policy over the next seven years, by setting up an "Energy - Climate" plan. Its objective is to drive, mobilise, enhance and concentrate performance, in order to orient Burgundy towards a model of controlled development that is more efficient, sustainable, autonomous and compatible with social, economic, environmental and regional concerns. The plan is mobilising an unprecedented investment: €140 M over seven years. Saône et Loire County (Southern Burgundy) is also mobilising through incentive packages in connection with the County Plan to Fight Climate Change (PDLCC71):
