  Vosges County is keenly aware of the importance of training, research and development and so has always focused on the quality and diversity of its educational institutions. R&D centres, which work in close collaboration with the county's University Centres, are available to meet the needs of businesses.

 

EDUCATION and TRAINING:
-34 secondary schools offer courses of study, including the certificate of professional competence, vocational studies  certificate and the vocational baccalaureate diploma.
- Many CFAs (Apprenticeship Training Centres)
- 4,000 students study in the schools and university branches in the Vosges.

- CRITT (wood), Wood Industry Research Centre, which offers advice and industrial expertise with a capacity for innovation and experimentation.
